Monday, September 21

6:00 p.m.: Too drunk to drive – Report of four intoxicated subjects who went into the La Conner Tavern. The caller was concerned they may attempt to drive after they left the tavern. S. 1st St., La Conner.

Tuesday, September 22

5:01 p.m.: Strong evidence – Caller is the property manager. Caller had a renter report that they came home and found a window open and a chair next to it. The renter wanted to report that someone may have tried to enter their residence. Maple Avenue, La Conner.

Wednesday, September 23

7:46 a.m.: A twofer – Deputies responded to a reported trespassing and theft. Deputies contacted the suspect and confirmed he had taken items from the outside of the residence. The suspect was cited for theft and given a trespass admonishment. Fir Island Rd., Conway.

11:23 a.m.: Landlord tenant dispute – Caller reported harassment by her tenant who lives on the same property. The harassment was over a parking issue. Bradshaw Rd., Greater La Conner.

9:05 p.m.: This is interesting – Caller reported a deceased coyote and deer in the roadway. View Moor Dr. / Best Rd., Greater La Conner.

Thursday, September 24

3:02 p.m.: From the President? – Caller reported that she received a phone call from SSI stating she had committed fraud and there was a warrant out for her arrest. This was determined to be a scam call. Pearle Jensen Wy., La Conner.

Saturday, September 26

10:38 a.m.: Mid-morning snatch – Caller reported her window was smashed out of her parked vehicle and her purse stolen while on a walk. 2nd / F Streets, Bay View.

2:22 p.m.: Lunchtime snatch – Caller reported her car window smashed out and her purse stolen while on a walk. Bay View Edison Rd., Bay View.

2:50 p.m.: Is it abandoned? – Report of a white vehicle parked facing the wrong way on the street for the past week. 2nd St., La Conner.

3:33 p.m.: Afternoon snatch – Caller reported her car window broken while on a walk. A purse, computer and wallet stolen. Bay View Edison Rd., Bay View.

4:43 p.m.: Purse status? – Caller reported damage done to their vehicle while parked at an acquaintance’s house in Conway. Broadway St., Conway.

Sunday, September 27

12:00 a.m.: Find this guy – Anacortes PD reported a drive-by shooting. The vehicle was located by Swinomish PD. It crashed after a short pursuit. Deputies provided containment for the K9 unit and also flew a drone to assist in looking for the suspect. The suspect was still at large when deputies cleared the scene. 2:01 a.m.: Find this guy, too – Caller reported that someone had thrown a rock through their large second story window. Whatcom St., La Conner.

6:07 a.m.: Smash and snatch – Caller reported that someone had thrown a rock through the front window of the store. Upon further investigation, it appeared that several bottles of liquor had also been taken. A market, Morris St., La Conner.

8:45 p.m.: After dinner snatch – Caller reported that her purse was stolen from the restaurant while at work. Morris St., La Conner.
