Monday July 24

2:47 p.m.: Suspicious sights – Drug paraphernalia and suspicious activity were seen near Skagit Valley’s Farmhouse Restaurant, leading to extra patrols in the area.

3:10 p.m.: Fraud fear – A resident of Bow on Fox Hollow Lane was worried about credit fraud after a collector called their address to collect money from someone with a different name, but had the resident’s current and previous addresses listed.

3:54 p.m.: Fraud fear again – A resident of Conway on Bulson Road keeps getting letters from what appears to be the census bureau, and then someone came to their home and asked for personal information on behalf of the bureau.

7:10 p.m.: Hit and run – A hit and run of a parked vehicle was reported on La Conner Whitney Road.

Tuesday July 25

11:05 a.m.: Hot dog – Report of a dog in a crate in the back of a truck on Maple Avenue in La Conner, but deputies did not locate the truck.

4:27 p.m.: Hot dog two – Another dog was also reported being left in a hot car by the La Conner Post Office on First Street. The car left before deputies arrived.

5:29 p.m.: Mailbox damage– Mailboxes were reported damaged along Valentine Road.

5:53 p.m.: Mailbox harass-ment – A person was reported looking into mailboxes and yelling on Hobson and Bow Hill roads in Bow. Deputies found a man experiencing mental health problem symptoms.

Wednesday July 26

1:20 a.m.: Wanted at dead-end – Deputies pulled over a vehicle on the dead-end of Bow Hill Frontage Road, Bow, and of the two men in the car, one had outstanding warrants for his arrest and was taken to Skagit County jail.

8:04 a.m.: Gun misdeal – Someone on Bow Hill Road reported they didn’t receive a firearm they purchased; deputies referred them to civil court.

12:45 p.m.: Burglary – A burglary was reported on Barrell Springs Lane in Bow and several items were missing; earlier neighbors had reported a suspicious vehicle in the area.

6:00 p.m.: Gunshots – Deputies were unable to locate the source of 12 gunshots heard near Colony Road, Bow.

Thursday July 27

1:46 a.m.: Ride request – A resident of the La Conner Retirement Inn called to request a ride to the social security office, saying that a relative might be taking funds.

10:00 a.m.: Suspicious bidder – Reports of a suspicious person on Colony Mountain Drive, Bow, led to deputies finding a business person who was measuring the area to bid on a project.

11:25 a.m.: Semi-speeding – Semi-trucks were reported speeding on Gilmore Avenue, Edison.

3:16 p.m.: No wake – Reports of speeding boats in the Swinomish Channel.

4:22 p.m.: Construction – Continuous issue of people trespassing a construction area on Tree Frog Lane, Bow.

4:55 p.m.: Harassing hotline – A resident in Bay View reported an unknown male caller saying harassing things.

Friday July 28

10:06 p.m.: Twilight tow – A resident in Bay View called to report a tow company came to pick up a vehicle near Bay View Road suspiciously late at night.

Saturday July 29

11:43 a.m.: Locating – Someone called police for help locating a business owner or employee on Conway Hill Lane, Bow.

Sunday July 30

3:36 a.m.: Open door – A report of a possible burglary according to a neighbor, led deputies to a residence on Barrell Springs Lane, Bow, with a slightly open door. Nobody was found inside.
