MOTION PICTURE – This painting of Mount Shuksan and Picture Lake by Darrington artist Sharon London Marcantel had moved around the Puget Sound area before Shelter Bay resident Danny Hagen came across it 10 years ago in Bellingham. Marcantel painted it in the 1970s, early in her career, and swapped it for a freezer full of beef. She has offered to redo the frame and clean the painting’s surface. – Photo courtesy of Danny Hagen
